Metallica Makes ASL Music Video For Each Song From New Album 72 Seasons
Heavy metal band Metallica released 72 Seasons, their eleventh album, last month. In addition to being a commercial success and receiving rave reviews for their music, the band is also receiving high praise for making ASL videos for each of the songs on the album.
Metallica collaborated with Deaf Professional Arts Network and Amber G Productions for this project. Each video consists of the original footage on the left and an ASL interpreter singing and signing on the right. With this ASL video series, Metallica is setting an example for leading bands and musicians to make their music inclusive so everyone can enjoy their work.
